Owning equipment is not our mission, we recognize that and therefore, we leave that operation to our partner carriers so that we can focus at what we do best. Question 2 Won’t using a third party logistics provider such as Farel International automatically increase my transportation costs? Answer Not with us it won’t. As it has been previously mentioned, we have been working for nearly 20 years at building a strong network and relationships with carriers. These strong relationships not only translate in a higher service level for our clients, but also better rates. The reasoning is simple: we can bring a carrier business from many of our different clients, which in turn, can increase our buying power way above the levels you would get as only one of many accounts for that same carrier. We often literally become some carriers’ largest account; therefore, we have the opportunity of getting extremely competitive pricing and rates.
